Daniel Arsham's work is defined by his use of contemporary icons from the late 20th century or millennial era, when technological obsolescence accelerated unprecedentedly along with the digital dematerialization of our world.

This work, like most of the objects it transforms into reference stone, or in this case into resin, subverts the icon of the digital camera and reverses its lens on the viewer. By asking them to question what they would choose to capture in the reflection of our age.
