Transparent
How it all began Founders Per and Martin were part of the renowned Stockholm-based design studio People People for almost 10 years. In between projects for major international consumer electronics brands, they envisioned TRANSPARENT in a blog post published on 11/11/2011. In the post, they outlined the philosophy of sustainable design and a solution to the war going on in living rooms around the world: the never-ending battle between home electronics and interior design. The post went viral, people literally begged them to put it on Kickstarter, this led to the successful completion of a crowdfunding campaign in 2013 and the rest is history.
The Design Design is often used to put an elegant surface on something. Transparent wants to do the exact opposite. They want to show the products as they really are. The main materials of their products - aluminum and glass - are chosen for their ability to last a long time and exist in recycled material streams. They are constantly working to increase recycled sources, with the aim of closing the material loop.
In addition, Transparent products integrate into any background. This is of course also the idea behind the products... to make a technological object become part of any style, in any place and at any time.
The Sound In the world of audio, the term transparent audio refers to the ability of a loudspeaker to convey the true intention of the musician to the listener. Their ambition is to bring the listener closer to music. Deliver a rich and authentic musical experience.
They don't decorate the sound, but celebrate the iconic and musical elements.
