Our story began when founder Julian Meagher was just eleven years old. Cycling through local underground parking garages, looking for hidden supercars and peering under dust covers to marvel at their elegant shapes and glittering badges, this early fascination with the beauty and magic of classic vehicles sparked an ambition to create a timeless toy collection: A collection that would delight and captivate generations to come, children and adults alike.
Today, the Playforever brand is sold in over 20 countries around the world. Drawing inspiration from the iconic racing cars and racing planes of the 1920s, as well as classic 1960s New York City, combined with decades of research and study of technical car design and automotive styling, our collection of Midis , Minis and Mavericks is an eclectic mix of art, fashion, traditional design and modernism.
We believe in authentic design and a flawless finish. Our manufacturing partners understand and share our ethos that beautiful products are born from the best materials. We use child-friendly soft-roll rubber wheels and durable, UV-resistant paint finishes. We never compromise on details or quality. All of our products are safety tested to the highest international standards.
